Our Commitment to Fair Policies
At Wagwise Training, we understand that life happens. Dogs get sick, storms hit Miami, and schedules change. Our refund and cancellation policies are designed to be fair to both our clients and our trainers, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and understanding.
This policy applies to all training services including Service-Dog Task Training, Obedience Training, and Behavior Modification programs. Please review these terms before booking your sessions.

Cancellation Policy
48+ Hours Notice
Full Credit or Refund
Cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours notice and receive:
- 100% credit toward future sessions
- Full refund if you prefer
- No questions asked
24-48 Hours Notice
50% Credit
Life gets busy, we understand:
- 50% credit toward future sessions
- 50% refund available
- One free short-notice cancellation per year
Less Than 24 Hours
Session Forfeited
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds, but:
- Emergency exceptions considered
- Medical emergencies (dog or human) reviewed case-by-case
- Natural disasters/hurricanes always excused

Training Package Refunds
Multi-Session Packages
If you've purchased a package of multiple sessions:

| Before first session | 100% refund minus $50 administrative fee |
| After first session | Prorated refund for unused sessions (see calculation below) |
| Midway through package | Prorated refund minus 10% early termination fee |
| Final 25% of sessions | Credit only (no cash refunds) |
Refund Calculation Example:
6-session package purchased for $600
After 2 sessions, requesting refund
Calculation: 4 unused sessions × $100 = $400
Minus 10% early termination = $360 refund
Special Circumstances
🌀 Weather Events
Miami weather can be unpredictable. Sessions cancelled due to hurricanes, tropical storms, or severe weather warnings are always rescheduled at no charge. Your safety and your dog's safety come first.
🏥 Medical Emergencies
If your dog becomes ill or injured, we'll work with you. Veterinary documentation may be requested for extended postponements. Human medical emergencies are handled with the same compassion.
😔 Bereavement
We understand that losing a pet is devastating. If your dog passes away during a training program, we offer full refunds for unused sessions, no questions asked. We're here to support you.
🏠 Relocation
Moving out of the Miami area? We'll provide a prorated refund for unused sessions and can recommend trusted trainers in your new location.
When We Need to Cancel
While rare, sometimes we need to cancel or reschedule:
- Trainer Illness: We'll give you as much notice as possible and offer priority rescheduling
- Emergency Situations: Full refund or rescheduling at your convenience
- Vehicle Issues: We'll attempt virtual session or offer makeup session
If we cancel with less than 24 hours notice (except emergencies), your next session is 50% off as our apology for the inconvenience.
Satisfaction Commitment
We stand behind our training methods. If you're not seeing progress after following our training plan consistently for 30 days, we'll work with you to adjust the approach or provide a partial refund. We measure success by your dog's improvement and your satisfaction.
Note: This commitment requires following the prescribed training plan, completing homework exercises, and maintaining consistent communication with your trainer.
